Exam Session & Enrolment Dates 2017
Please refer to the relevant sections of the current Victorian Enrolment Handbook or this website for details of examination availability and examination centres. The following session dates apply to general centres (as published). A school or private studio with examining time of 3 hours or more in a particular subject may apply to be an examination centre and also may request to host Practical examinations outside the published session dates.

Country Victoria Practical
Special subjects available in Country Victoria by special arrangement. Examinations for Associate and Licentiate diplomas are not available in Country sessions. In the 2nd Country session: Instrumental, Musical Theatre, Singing and Speech examinations are available in Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Sale, Shepparton, Warragul and Wodonga only, except by special arrangement. Piano examinations are available at all centres in both sessions.

Grade examinations in Theory of Music and Musicianship are available online: www.amebexams.edu.au Music Craft Preliminary to Grade 4 exams are available online only. Traditional, paper-based exams for all subjects (except Music Craft Preliminary to Grade 4) are available in the Written exam session. Due to the popularity of online exams, there will be no Written session in May.

Speech & Performance Theory
Entries must be received by the published closing date, so that the processing of enrolments, scheduling of examinations and dispatch of notices can proceed in a timely manner. Late entries will only be accepted if accompanied by payment of the applicable late entry fee. For more information refer to: Late entries in the Supplementary Enrolment Information section of this website. If your candidate cannot attend a scheduled practical exam and dates to avoid have not been written on the enrolment form, re-scheduling fees will apply if you request a different exam date. Please note that, once a session has been finalised, substitute examination times may not be available.
