2019 Piano Syllabus workshop
Presented by Emeritus Professor David Locket AM
A new Piano syllabus and associated publications will be released in November and available for examination in 2019. This represents the first full review of the Piano Syllabus since 2008 and will include revision of all technical work requirements and repertoire. A new suite of publications, Piano Series 18 will include grade books (preliminary to Grade 8), recordings and handbooks, a Sight-reading book and Technical work book.
To help teachers become familiar with the new syllabus we are offering a workshop with principal consultant Emeritus Professor David Lockett AM on Sunday 9 December at Monash University in Clayton.
The morning session (from 10am to 1pm) will cover Level 1 (Preliminary – Grade 4) and the afternoon session (2pm to 5pm) will cover Level 2. Teachers may choose to register for a half day or a full day. As this is a professional development opportunity, Statements of Attendance will be provided.
